Yes I finally got down and dirty with some python to add some content to Xbmc. Stay tuned for more to come. I'm working on another script now and a third is right behind it.

Keep on getting down and dirty! This is great stuff!
Funny thing, I was just bitching about bloglines and there API's for my usual desktop reader. But never even thought it could be used in XBMC.
Genius! keep up the good work

Before I tell you my problem with the Bloglines script, I'd just like to tell you how amazing the concept is. I mean, Bloglines is THE aggregator of choice for those on-the-go who don't own laptops, and I've been using it to access my feeds from over a hundred different machines since I've found out about it. I couldn't live without it. And as a person who loves his XBox and his XBMC (my dash of choice since the day I found out that it could be a dash), it's amazing to think that I could use it to access Bloglines. Thank you.
I'm using a custom CVS build of XBMC (Big Wadger, probably late May, from sky), and I'm having problems with the Bloglines script. It hangs on "updating with xx entries." I've tried adding and removing subscriptions, but no dice. Any ideas?

It could be that the script is just out of date with Xbmc. You know how fast their dev cycles are. I'll take a look at it soon to see if i can find any obvious problems.
I'm glad you find it useful, and yes, i think its genius too :) Since using RSS for the very first time i knew that the secret would be one central place that keeps track of what you've read, that applications could tie into, and thats what bloglines has done. And we're now able to get our stuff everywhere!
